I'm Ali Aslani — 5+ years building distributed Python/Django backends, network automation platforms, and LLM/RAG infrastructure, plus 7+ years teaching 1,000+ engineers how to do the same. Based in Isfahan, working with teams worldwide.
I build the parts of a product that aren't supposed to be noticed — APIs that hold up under load, async pipelines that don't drop jobs, and data layers that stay consistent when everything else around them is changing. My background runs from enterprise fintech backends to telecom network automation to, more recently, production LLM/RAG systems.
What makes me different from most backend hires: I've spent 7+ years teaching Django and Python to over a thousand engineers, which means I write code — and explain decisions — in a way that's easy for the rest of your team to pick up and maintain.
Currently exploring the overlap between traditional backend engineering and applied ML: local LLM infrastructure, RAG pipelines, and AI features wired directly into Django dashboards.
Built and hardened a production retrieval-augmented generation pipeline from scratch using Ollama for local inference, with a Celery-backed async job graph and PostgreSQL-tracked state.
Multi-vendor scanning and hardening system covering Cisco, Juniper, Huawei VRP, Ericsson IPOS, and Arista devices, with severity-scored reporting and CSV/config export.
A 12-app Django marketplace for programming education, with sanctions-safe Zarinpal payments, signed expiring-token video streaming, and async email/AI service delivery.
An LLM chat widget embedded directly into a Django MVT dashboard, connected to a local OpenAI-compatible model via LM Studio, plus a network hardening scanner UI with row-level actions.
